Frequently asked questions
Is a mobile app on the way?
Yes, native Pumpynotes apps for iOS and Android are in development. Until they arrive, your phone's browser is fully capable: the same account, the same data and the app-like layout described on this page. We will announce the apps here and inside Pumpynotes when they launch.→
Do I have to download an app?
No. Opening Pumpynotes in your phone's browser is enough, and the mobile view kicks in by itself. There is nothing to install.→
Can the layout I built get lost?
No. Every change is saved to your account instantly; close the browser or sign in from another computer and you still see the same layout. The page also opens directly in your arrangement.→
How do I get the original look back?
Enter edit mode and press Reset layout ; order and widths return to the starting state in one step. The widgets you added from the Marketplace stay on your page, only the layout is reset. On a phone the same button sits in the top bar, next to the pencil icon.→
Which key on a Mac?
Cmd + K. On Windows and Linux, Ctrl + K. Both shortcuts open the same box, and there is nothing to set up.→
Does it search inside note text?
For now notes are matched on their titles; events on their name, transactions on name and description, and wallets, categories and tags on their name. Searching the full text of a note is on the list of things to come.→
Can I add the same widget twice?
No, a widget appears once on your page. A card is either Add or Installed; no second copy is created.→
Do other people in my workspace see what I added?
No. Your widget selection is personal: two people in the same workspace can run completely different sets, and nobody changes anybody else's Overview page.→
