Pumpynotes Finance brings your income and expenses together in one place. You add your transactions and the dashboard handles the rest: it shows your balance, income/expense breakdown, budget, and upcoming payments at a glance. In the five steps below you can set up your finances in minutes.
1
Get to know the Finance dashboard
In the Finance section, everything about your money is on one screen: at the top your total balance, income, expense and net cards; below them your income/expense breakdown, budget and upcoming payments. Every question about your money, answered at a glance. If you want to see the figures in another currency, the Convert button at the top of the panel shows them all at the current rate in that currency; this is a temporary view and the recorded value of your transactions does not change.

Add your first transaction
Adding your first transaction is simple. Just choose Expense or Income and type the amount; you can easily link the transaction to a wallet and a category, set its date, and add a short note if you like. The moment you save, your balance, breakdown charts and budget all update at once.

If you have payments that recur every month (subscriptions, rent, bills, installments...) you do not have to enter each one separately. When you pick a frequency in the Recurrence tab while adding a transaction, Pumpynotes creates it automatically for you at the interval you set. So you define your regular payments once and the dashboard tracks the rest.

Create your wallets
Your money isn't all in one place. Wallets are exactly for that: you keep each account separate and the dashboard adds them up into a single balance. With "Add wallet" in the Wallets tab you can create a new one, and by clicking the eye icon you can hide any wallet from the dashboard.
Free: 1 wallet
Pro and above: unlimited wallets (each in a different currency)

Organize with categories
Categories group your spending. You link each transaction to a category, and the dashboard splits them into income and expense and shows them at a glance in the breakdown chart. With "Add category" in the Categories tab you can easily build your own categories, and with the Income / Expense filter you can simplify the list.

Set your budget and get alerts
A budget is the easiest way to keep your spending under control. You can set a monthly limit on an expense category; as your spending nears the limit the budget bar fills, and when you go over the dashboard warns you. So you set the limit and the dashboard does the tracking.
Free: budget on 1 category
Pro and above: budget on all categories

You can connect Finance to your calendar: if you make a payment a recurring transaction, it appears on its own under "Upcoming payments" on the dashboard. That way no bill slips past you.
Frequently asked questions
How many transactions can I add?
Unlimited. On all plans you can add as many income and expense transactions as you want.
How many wallets can I create?
On the Free plan you can create 1 wallet. On Pro and above you can open unlimited wallets and keep them in different currencies.
Can I see my transactions in another currency?
Yes. With the "Convert" button at the top of the dashboard you can view all your transactions in another currency at the current rate with one tap; this is a temporary view, the recorded value of your transactions does not change, and it works on all plans, including Free. Keeping wallets in different currencies, however, is exclusive to Pro and above.
What happens when I exceed a budget limit?
As your spending nears the limit the budget bar fills; when you exceed it, a warning appears on the dashboard. On the Free plan you can set a limit on 1 category, and on Pro and above on all categories.
