A recurring event reappears in the calendar on its own at the interval you set (daily, weekly, monthly or yearly). You set it up from the Repeat tab in the left menu while creating or editing an event. The six steps below cover all of it.
1
Turn on repeat
When you open the event editor, go to the Repeat tab in the left menu. Turn on the yellow switch at the top right and the event starts repeating; right below it you choose the frequency.

Choose the days of the week
When you pick Every week, the days of the week appear. Mark which days the event repeats on; for example only Monday, Wednesday and Friday. By raising the number next to "per week" you can also set intervals like every two weeks.

4
Set a custom repeat
With the Custom... option you can define your own interval. Set the number and pick its unit (day, week, month, year). For example, choosing "2 weeks" and marking the days makes the event repeat every two weeks on the days you selected.

Set an end date
If you don't want the repeat to go on forever, you can add an end date. This field is optional; if you leave it empty, the event keeps repeating until you turn it off.

The repeat mark in the calendar
In month view, a recurring event's card shows a small two-arrow repeat mark in the top right. This mark lets you tell at a glance that the event repeats rather than being a one-off. On events with a linked note, the same card also shows a note row. The linked-event card inside a note carries this repeat mark for repeating events too.

You can turn a one-off event into a recurring one later: open the event, go to the Repeat tab and flip the switch. If you turn the repeat off on an existing series and save, you'll be asked how to apply the change: choose This and All Future to stop the repeat from that day on. Update All Events also removes past occurrences from the calendar.
Frequently asked questions
Is repeat available on all plans?
Yes. Creating recurring events is available on all plans, including Free. Daily, weekly, monthly, yearly and custom intervals are all available.
Can it repeat only on certain days?
Yes. In Every week, or in Custom... when the unit is Week, you can mark the days of the week. For example, you can pick only Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
When can I stop the repeat?
Whenever you want. You can set an end date. If you left that field empty, just turn the repeat off on the day you want and, when saving, choose This and All Future to stop the series from that day on.
If I delete one occurrence, are they all deleted?
No. When you delete, you get three options: Delete Only This Day, Delete From This Date or Delete all; the choice is yours.
