Every time you use Pumpy, a small part of your monthly allowance is used. You can always see how much you've used as a percentage. In this guide we explain where to track your allowance, when it renews, what happens when it runs out, and how to buy the extra credits pack when your monthly allowance isn't enough. If you're using Pumpy for the first time, you may want to read Pumpy: your AI assistant first.
How does your allowance work?
- Every request uses allowance. Choosing an action in the Pumpy box or sending a message in the chat uses up part of your allowance. The amount depends on the size of the job: a long text or a long conversation uses more than a short request. If you stop a request halfway, whatever it used up to that point still counts.
- It renews on the 1st of every month. The monthly allowance resets on the 1st of every month at 00:00 UTC, so the exact local time depends on where you are. The part you don't use doesn't carry over to the next month.
- One-time on the Free plan. The trial allowance on the Free plan is yours alone and doesn't renew. It's tied to your account: if you have more than one Free workspace, they all draw on the same trial allowance.
- Per person. On team plans, everyone has their own monthly allowance; one member's usage doesn't come out of anyone else's allowance. On the Enterprise plan, the allowance can be set individually for each workspace.
- Monthly allowance first, then the extra pack. Your extra pack isn't used until your monthly allowance runs out. If you have more than one pack, the one that expires soonest is used first.
The extra credits pack is only sold on the Pro, Business and Enterprise plans, which have a monthly allowance. Packs aren't sold on the Free plan; when your trial allowance runs out, you can switch to Pro to keep using Pumpy.
