If you work with your team on the Business or Enterprise plan, everyone in the workspace uses Pumpy with their own allowance. If you're the owner or an admin of the workspace, you can use the Settings > Pumpy page to see how much of their own allowance each member has used this month and, if needed, turn Pumpy off for the whole workspace. Open the Settings > Pumpy page
Go to Settings and click Pumpy in the Workspace group on the left. At the top of the page you see your own usage, just like everyone else. If you're the owner or an admin of the workspace and your plan is Business or Enterprise, there's also a Member usage section lower down the page, after the Conversations section. People with the Member role don't see this section; they only see their own usage, the extra credits row and the Conversations section.

Check your members' usage
The Member usage section lists everyone in the workspace, including you. Under each person's name (or email address, if no name has been entered) you see how much of their own allowance for this month they've used, as a percentage; the heaviest user is at the top. The bar turns orange at 80% and red when the allowance runs out. This figure resets on the 1st of every month.
Here you only see the usage percentage. You can't see what your members asked Pumpy or what they wrote in their conversations: conversations are stored encrypted, and each person's conversations can only be read by that person.

Turn off Pumpy in the workspace
Switch on the Turn off Pumpy in this workspace toggle at the very bottom of the same section. The setting is saved right away, and from then on nobody in the workspace, including you, can send Pumpy a new request. The extra credits pack can't be bought during this time either.

Know what your members see, and turn it back on when you want
While Pumpy is turned off, members who open the Pumpy box in their notes or the Pumpy chat see the message "Pumpy is turned off in this workspace." Their past conversations, usage percentages and any extra credits packs they bought are not deleted.
To turn Pumpy back on, go back to the Settings > Pumpy page and switch the same toggle off. Pumpy becomes available to everyone again right away.

How is the Pumpy allowance shared in a team?
The Pumpy allowance isn't a shared pool; it's given per person. One member using up their allowance doesn't reduce anyone else's.
- Business. Everyone in the workspace has their own monthly allowance, and it renews on the 1st of every month.
- Enterprise. The allowance can be set individually for each workspace; it still applies to each person separately.
- Extra credits pack. Anyone whose monthly allowance has run out and who doesn't want to wait can buy extra credits for themselves from their own Settings > Pumpy page. The pack is added only to the buyer's account and to that workspace; an admin can't buy a pack on someone else's behalf.
The Member usage list only shows how much of each member's monthly allowance has been used. A member showing 100% may still be using Pumpy with extra credits they bought themselves. You'll find more about the allowance and extra credits in Track your Pumpy allowance and buy extra credits.
To make someone an admin, change their role or remove them from the workspace, see Manage members and roles. A person who leaves the workspace is also removed from the Member usage list.
Frequently asked questions
Can an admin read my conversations?
No. Your conversations are stored encrypted and only you can read them. In the Member usage section, the workspace owner or an admin only sees your name and how much of your own allowance you've used this month, as a percentage. For more about your conversations, see Chat with Pumpy.
Are allowances or conversations deleted when I turn Pumpy off?
No. Turning it off only stops new requests; conversations, usage percentages and extra credits packs already bought stay where they are. Keep in mind, though, that conversations not used at all for 90 days are deleted automatically. The monthly allowance starts again on the 1st of every month, and the unused part doesn't carry over to the next month.
Can I turn Pumpy off for just one member?
Not at the moment. The toggle turns Pumpy off or on for everyone in the workspace together. There's no setting to turn it off per person.
Why can't I see member usage on the Pro plan?
Pro is a single-person plan; inviting members to a workspace is available on the Business and Enterprise plans. That's why the Member usage section and the toggle to turn Pumpy off only appear on these two plans, to the workspace owner and admins.
Can everyone in the workspace use Pumpy?
Yes. Pumpynotes has no separate guest role; everyone in a workspace is an Owner, Admin or Member and can use Pumpy with their own allowance. You can manage who has which role in the Members tab of the Workspace page in Settings.
