Overview is the page that greets you when you open Pumpynotes: your day, your upcoming events, your notes and your money, all on one screen. Every section on it (a widget) can be moved: which one sits where, how wide it is, which ones are on your page at all, you decide all of it. Below you will set Overview up around the way you work, step by step.
1
Get to know the Overview page
Every box on the page is a widget. The ones waiting for you the first time: the greeting with the weather, the quick action shortcuts, upcoming events, notes and today's agenda.
Every widget shows live data and you can work right in it: tick an event in the agenda here and it is ticked in the calendar too, click a note and you are inside it.

2
Enter edit mode
Press the Edit button right next to the page title. It turns yellow and changes to Done, which means you are in edit mode. Dashed frames appear around the widgets and two small tools open above each one: on the left the dotted handle, on the right the width picker.
You can enter the same mode by right-clicking an empty spot on the page. To leave it, press Done again or hit
Esc on your keyboard. While you are in edit mode a Reset layout button appears next to Done; if things get tangled, one tap brings the starting layout back.

Today's agenda
Return the library bookAll day
Edit mode: dashed frames, the handle and the 1/3 - 2/3 - 3/3 width picker
3
Reorder widgets by dragging
Grab the dotted handle that appears above a widget and move it wherever you want. While you drag, the card turns half transparent and leaves a faint trace in its old spot, and the copy you carry follows your cursor freely. The moment you drop it the order is saved and a "Order changed" message appears at the top of the screen.
The layout flows left to right, row by row. So if you move the agenda to the top you see it first thing in the morning; if you push the greeting widget to the bottom, the page opens straight into your work.
4
Pick a width: 1/3, 2/3 or the full row
The three-part picker next to the handle decides how much of the page that widget takes. 1/3 is a narrow column, 2/3 a wide area, 3/3 the whole row. The layout reflows the moment you click, there is nothing to save.
A practical rule: keeping list-heavy widgets (upcoming events, notes) wide and summary ones (mini calendar, agenda, streak) narrow reads best. Make everything 3/3 and you get a calm single-column page.
5
Fill the empty slots
When a wide widget does not fit a row it moves to the next one and leaves a gap beside it. In edit mode that gap shows up as a dashed grey slot and you can drop any widget into it. If you try to drop one that does not fit, nothing happens and your layout stays intact.
Tapping + Add widget in the empty slot opens the Marketplace, where you can pick a new widget to put there.
Gaps are never filled automatically. That is on purpose: the order you built stays exactly as you left it, and no widget moves itself behind your back.

6
Reorder on a phone and a tablet
On small screens the page drops to a single column, so the width setting has no meaning. That is why on a phone and a portrait tablet you tap the pencil icon in the top bar to enter edit mode; then up and down arrows appear at the top right of every widget. Dragging with a finger would fight page scrolling, so you reorder with the arrows; the top widget's up arrow and the bottom one's down arrow are dimmed. Everything about moving around on a small screen is in Pumpynotes on phone and tablet.
On a wide tablet (in landscape) you get the desktop experience: dragging by the handle and the width picker both work with a finger.

7
Add a new widget from the Marketplace
The widgets you see on Overview are a starter set. The Marketplace icon in the top bar opens all of them: add what you want with one click, remove what you do not. Tapping the empty dashed slot in edit mode takes you straight there as well.
The Marketplace holds free widgets such as quick note and streak, plus ones that come with the Pro plan: news and markets, event heatmap, spending radar, upcoming payments and budget status. A locked widget's card shows its plan, so you see what you are getting before you add it. The steps are in Add and remove widgets from the Marketplace.
A widget you add lands at the end of the page; from there you drag it wherever you want and pick its width.
Your layout is saved to your account, not to a device. The order you set on your phone holds on your computer, and you meet the same layout even after switching workspaces; the page opens directly in your arrangement instead of showing the old one first and settling afterwards.
Frequently asked questions
Can the layout I built get lost?
No. Every change is saved to your account instantly; close the browser or sign in from another computer and you still see the same layout. The page also opens directly in your arrangement.
How do I get the original look back?
Enter edit mode and press Reset layout; order and widths return to the starting state in one step. The widgets you added from the Marketplace stay on your page, only the layout is reset. On a phone the same button sits in the top bar, next to the pencil icon.
Why can't I see the width option on my phone?
On small screens the page already opens as a single column and every widget is full width, so the 1/3 and 2/3 options only appear on wide screens. On a phone you reorder with the up and down arrows.
Does everyone in my workspace see my layout?
No, the Overview layout is personal. Two people in the same workspace can build completely different arrangements; nobody changes anybody else's page. Because the layout follows the person, you see the same arrangement in every workspace you belong to.
Can I remove a widget completely?
Yes. Open the Marketplace and press Remove on that widget's card; it leaves your Overview page right away. Change your mind and you add it back from the same place, and your data is never deleted.
I dropped a widget in the wrong place, can I undo it?
Just grab the widget and move it to the right place; every move is saved on its own and nothing breaks permanently. An attempt to drop one where it does not fit is never applied at all.
